tldr muslim men from afghanistan will feel a hatred for and from westerners which makes them extremely prone to radicalization and thus, terrorist recruitment

like we HAVE to take anyone who we said were gonna take them like the interpreters and everyone and youre right but my gut feeling is no we should focus on saving women from the fucking taliban.

I don't want to continue having this conversation because I don't think it's doing anything other than make me sad lol but I'll just say, women in villages like the one that woman was from haven't had their rights taken away from them, they have never had rights. 
I also can't help but disagree on that last part, the systems in most other places where women have rights aren't as fragile as they are in the US. Also abortion is a contentious issue, and it's not quite the same thing in Texas and Ramallah.

it's interesting cause i think yes help the refugees but also an incontrolled intake of more ppl only leads to bad living conditions for them cause which government has money and place for all of them lol we're literally sinking in internal problems BUT yeah training and making sure they dont end up in cycles of impoverty which also makes them more prone to terrorist recruitmentp
