no, bcos thats not how systemic oppression works; u cant oppress ur oppressors
honestly just google "how systemic oppression works" and theres ur answer, doesnt matter abt ppls opinions in this thread
ppl love to whip out the "dictionary definition" excuse (which is always the first thing included on "i'm not a racist, BUT" bingo cards) w/o thinking abt it in detail, specifically who defined it; the ppl in power
white ppl created the societal structure that puts white as highest and black as lowest in terms of power
yes, u can be prejudice against white ppl, but u can't be racist towards them, bcos they are the ones in positions of power in regard to race
disliking/hating/being mean to someone bcos theyre white doesnt put a poc in a position of privilege and power over them
(hell, if u have no soul all u have to do is call the cops and say they were harassing u and u could very well end up getting them killed; if thats not indicative of whos got the power in that scenario idk what is)
u are not being oppressed bcos a poc doesnt want to be around/nice to their oppressor/s
plenty of ppl, esp poc, have explained this far better and in more detail than i can, so if anyone rly wants to learn abt it i'd suggest just...googling the details
hell, even just google what systemic oppression means like i said and there u go, proof
in my experience theres a shitload of openly, unapologetic, violently racist ppl on this site, so ur for sure going to hear their ignorant, flawed arguments a hell of a lot more here, but that doesnt mean theyre right
most of them just want sth to hold over those "mean pocs" head or an excuse to play the victim when it comes to matters of race so they dont have to deal w/ their white guilt or god forbid, admitting that like anyone else raised in a racist society, theyre racist too and have to put in work to unlearn it
