oh yeah sure let's forget how some if not most of those old rock stars you speak godly of are ped0s, abusers and racists, yeah let's focus on "the nasty music from this era" then! it has always been this way, grow up. just bc it was normalized or not talked ab enough back in the day doesn't mean it wasn't there.
pls go get some fresh air, think before u speak <3
Have you ever heard the expression "separate the art from the artist?"
I'm not talking about specific rappers. I'm talking about rap in general.
my point is that most of these rock stars u talk ab have made at least ONE song where they mention abusing women, their money, sex, racist shit, and the list goes on.
songs like these were always being made too, u just have a problem with rap music in general. in reality, these concepts apply to a lot of other genres too, you just don't want to see it i guess.
u can't really use that as an example on why u SPECIFICALLY don't like rap music, bc if u apply this logic then god forbid you ever listen to any music again at all! most artists have sung ab those themes.
rappers are just as talented as any rock/pop/reggae/country/whatever musician, it's just different genres but it's still musical talent regardless.
rap is not only what u say it is, it shines light on other social issues too. Social issues that are promoted by their "music". Isn't that ironic?
