i mean unironically i do think miss masi here is smarter than most of us probably in the top 10% as far as smarts go around here

I honestly doubt it, I think many here play their actual intelligence down, but it is kinda obvious if someone is just not trying to look too snobish (like I do, I don't really mind, I know I'm an entitled little bitch and have come to terms with it) or someone is truly limited and unable to grasp anything that's not been explained to them before the age of 4

mostly the latter, though a bit of ignorance mixed in for good measure and the inability to understand their need for further education on topics they know shit about
