all jokes aside, op - i symphatize.
im not american, but i do notice that a lot of ppl rejoice in the total chaos of the united states rather than thinking of the people it actually affects. like, yes - haha very funny the rise of modern fascism. and to some extent it could be argued that it is the american people's fault for voting him in and not participating in the democracy. but that is a very simple and unnuanced view. is it the people's fault when american democracy is built on making it as hard as possible to participate? mail voting is not common, you cant get work off for voting, voting day is not a national holiday, there arent enough places to vote ensuring long, long ques, the way the two party system is constructed makes it feel hopeless to vote.
and yes, the us has a history of involving itself in other countries democratic processes and putting their nose where it shouldnt be. but is that the fault of minimum wage worker age 24? no. but theyre the ones who get the brunt of the negative decisions people make fun of.
that said, all countries experience people from a totally different country trying to mansplain their own country to them.
