It's supposed to be used to rise the tension, he keeps hearing a heartbeat but it's not his own and he is slowly being possessed
ah, then it's a different matter. Well, make sure you don't overuse it tho. You know to the point where the effect of it gets lost or not as impactful as it could have been : )
