But because kids grow so fast my family couldn't afford them, and so as an adult I have fun pain and problems.

It's not uncommon, either. Kids grow too fast, and often that means parents have to opt for cheap, shitty, shoes.

Exactly. I don't know how many shoes I've had to force on to children bc they've out grown them (working in preschool) or they have toooo big shoes/clothes on so it will last longer

I wear a 9 which is NOT an uncommon size, like, at all???
and I still almost always have to order my shoes online.
