I only read nonfiction and sometimes in a discussion I'll remember something I read in a book thats relevant and I need to be able to find it fast!

I try to take notes if its a library book but it's not good enough.

I did however just google the book I was thinking about when I was complaining about expensive out of print books, and they've made it an ebook since I read it in 2017 and now the price is way down, very exciting. I'm gonna get it

What book is it?
Behind The Mask of Innocence by Kevin Brownlow
it's an academic look at American social issue films in the silent movie era, and the cultural response to them, how they shaped culture, etc.
It's really dense, but it led me to so many other cool books after I read it.
