there was an article on a local news site (behind a paywall so probably pointless to link it) about one of the shop owners who'd helped a victim (victims came into two different stores as far as i know). the owner said he was well aware of the attacker and had had issues with him in the store before. it's in an area where a lot of addicts hang out. i've heard from people who knew the attacker and they've said he had a lot of issues, according to a friend he has also threatened people before, with weapons i think even. i saw him last summer around a time when people were wary of him because of that. but take this with a pinch of salt!! because this is just rumors i've heard lol
anyway like it's super terrible, yes, but it's not terrorism
