It's a big issue in our house as well, but I've been working with a few femme-representing friends of mine to get an anti-sexist group running, probably won't call it that though lol.

It's especially the older punks/leftists who had their prime during Jagtvej 69 who run around acting like they're better than the younger activists, ESPECIALLY the younger girls

i feel like theres a lot of people that are too sensitive as a result of cancel culture, theres a lot that i see in for example the body positive (or rather fat positive) community where people wanting to lose weight is already seen as a "trigger"
its good that we've become more and more aware of stuff like triggers but there are people that need to grow a thicker skin just in order to cope with everyday life? if someone wanting to lose weight or losing weight triggers you it shouldnt be their responsiblity to not post content like this it should be yours to either get over it and/or block posts like that until you can cope with it
yk   and theres stuff like that in multiple areas, it feels like theres a lot of cases where people choose to be offended to play it up and feel morally superior instead of just you know   living their lifes
thank you this is a much better answer than showing up like "yes"

i do think people have become a tad too sensitive over a growing amount of things over the past decade or so. i don't know if it's an issue as it is right now, but if people keep moving the boundary for what they deem as acceptable or not, i fear it's going to become very difficult to do the most basic things. if we as the whole society need to take into account every single trigger that might be, what are we left with doing? people with eating disorders are likely to have many triggers relating to things within many different fields such as food, fashion, working out etc., while people who haven't had the same struggles with be okay with a lot of it. people who have experienced war might have loud sudden noises as a trigger, but it's going to be impossible to hinder that something is loud every now and then.

also, judging the past based on the values of the present is highly problematic, we don't have all the answers now either, we should learn of past mistakes and avoid repeating it, condemning the actions of the past based on present values is like.. oh well, society changes and you should not censor the past because it takes away an opportunity to grow. we don't have to applaud the atrocities of the past, but in order to learn we have to know that it happened and that is not achieved through censoring it.
