Jeg er i Norge!!! Trondheim, more spesifically. Do you have any recommandations?

I like to browse pinterest every now and then and save outfits I like
and then figure out Why I like them and what pieces especially
one pretty good advice to know is to have the outfit base built out of basics, neutral colours and pieces, and then spice it up with a statement piece or two

And like others have said, confidence is the key!!
I know the stick figure figure, I’m 185cm tall girl shaped like a stick as well lmao
but you can wear whatever you want, I’m sure you’re gorgeous
Omgg thanks so much ! Anytime I see other tall girls I feel like they are soo pretty, but as once it is me I just feel like i can't pull off the same stuff
Pinterest is great but if I go there I can't get out

trondheim er fiiin by.
tise også! der handler jeg mesteparten av klærne mine egentlig.

tbh ive formulated a style im very comfortable in so that im not tempted to jump on micro trends. ts expensive, its not sustainable n it very often suits only the few. it slowly evolved over time, and its not before now that im 22 that i actually can confidentally predict if ill use a piece of clothing if i buy it
Ojojoj hjølp, kanskje jeg skal trå litt varsomt da siden jeg er newbie, men ja ENIG, føles litt galt å ikke snakke norsk med andre som prater det hahah
Jaa superfint her, stortrives så langt!! Tise er definitivt et godt alternativ! Må lære meg å bruke den appen oftere

I'm turning 22 in June so maybe it will finally kick in for me then how to dress and where to buy stuff lol
bruker den såååå mye LOL.

i think it was easier for me to find out what i DONT like and what doesnt look good on me. i think omslagskjoler and mum jeans look super odd on me, and so ive ruled those two out.
kappahl og lindex is very middle aged woman shop, BUT their summer collections are often very very pretty.

Figure what fits your body, not what is in style. Trends are gone in a month anyways

for me, learning to develop my own style while still feeling fashionable was a lot about just copying other people until i figured out what i liked wearing and what suited me

not like straight up copying someone in your friend group, but just looking on pinterest and stuff like that and then try and find items that look like what you see there. im not a big fan of huge hauls bc i usually end up not liking a lot of the items, but if youre starting from scratch it could maybe make sense to go big to figure out what you like and then you can add small pieces here and there from then on

if you end up with items you dont like, you can always donate them or resell
You're right, I definetly need to find my own style in all the trends going around. I just haven't found it yet. I see alot of items I like, but then my second thought is hey; I could never wear that. Maybe I just need to try out more stuff, I usually HATE trying on clothes when shopping, but that might be something that could help out
that's my point tho, just buy the items, wear them out and figure out what you like and what you dont like (both in style and whats comfortable to you), then resell or donate the ones you dont. a lot of it is trial and error in the beginning and you might be surprised by something you thought you couldnt wear, turned out to look and feel great on you.

i wasnt saying you need to find your own style in all the trends rn bc that can be hard if you're just starting out, im just saying in order to become "fashionable" you basically just have to not be scared of buying the stuff you see on other people that you like (and are scared doesnt suit you) and just wear it. it takes a lot of getting used to when changing the clothes and style youre used to wearing and seeing yourself in, so a lot of it can just be that you need to spend some time in the new clothes to become comfortable in them. and dont put too much weight on one item, find a selection of items and just buy and wear them all, then you figure out in that process which items you like and are comfortable in and which you dont and you can build on that

thriftshopping is good for buying in bulk bc its cheap and sustainable, but if you dont have good thrift stores, i would suggest maybe just looking where to get the styles you want online for cheap, although i know its unsustainable and harmful for the environment etc etc etc

sorry about the long message lmao, i had a hard time conveying exactly what i meant and i think you slightly misunderstood the intention of my first message
