Isn't that illegal
Depends what they mean by "looking into". My dad looks into medication for me sometimes, by that I mean he researches medication that might help me and then brings it up to my psychiatrist.
Yeah I think that's an ok thing to do, but as I took it he was a professional and I thought he intended to give her the medications personally? I'm wondering if that's what she meant or I misunderstood her
No... sorry
I meant he'd "research" what would help me not give it to me
He's not a psychiatrist or anything like that
just an internist (is that the English word) but he's not a total idiot concerning meds and diagnoses

That should probably be fine then. People love jumping to the worst conclusions possible, eh?

Yeah no it's fine to look into medicine that could help a loved one, again, my dad does that all the time and if he didn't I would be going nowhere in my treatment. He's a doctor, by the way, he's not just some rando with a google medical degree lol.

I agree with that, not supposed to be his job
I as a person that studied meds and fucked up in the head might've helped my man with pushing him to go to therapy and telling him that meds might help him, but will never tell him what, or how
just that he should go and see a professional, and maybe he'll suggest meds, maybe just therapy, but it'll be good for him
