Yeah, tho kinda hard to prove that someone wasn't actually worried, esp if there is history w mental illness or abusive ppl n drugs n whatnot, so I think it would be hard to get fined for it, unless it happens multiple times. Cus yeah I guess u can b fined for wasting police time, but I don't think ur usually fined if its a one time thing and its debatable if the check felt necessary for the person that called them or not I'm pretty sure the police can fine someone, if they call for a fake wellfare check.
