Its legit pumpkin spice, spice for le pumpkin, like if u say chicken spice its not made of chicken or chicken flavored. Pumpkin tastes like nothing

but why call it pumpkin flavour
because its what they put in pumpkin pie and i assume thats the only way most people consume pumpkin so its probably what they associate with the flavour of pumpkin or something
