so fastforward 4 years, he's my ex now.
earlier this fall i was going to mushroom hunt with this new guy i'm dating. we accidentanly drove past the crossroad where we were supposed to turn. and we couldn't turn around there and he was like oh well let's just drove to place x we have to drive almost all way there anyway
and i was like this can't be real, i can't go with you to place where i fell in love with my ex. but obvilously i was just like Yeah Okay lets go there why not
so we went there and.. that place was different. i mean literally different, they had build a new bridge there to cross the river and so on. i didn't feel hurt.
that's when i knew i'm gonna be okay and i'm able to make new memories with new people
