Depends what meat u buy. I don't buy my own food, but if u have an ok average income there should be no problem buying meat
How expensive even is meat, like 7€ for 400g ground beef, thats 1,75€ per meal, and u don't use ground beef for more than 1 meal a day anyway. Obv would be more when buying otger types of meat but is it very expensive when u factor in portion price, no

I eat out 4x a week
but when my schedule allows me to cook
i purchase meat from the local butcher
because it’s cheaper AND fresher than the supermarket
or I buy in bulk from wholesale clubs
like Sam’s

this isnt quite right thlo? theres more to beung vegan then only meat and a lot of vegan made items are more expensive
Yeah esp if ur buying meat/dairy substitutes etc, and don't just want to eat veggies. Or snacks, I could figure that vegan snacks (esp candy) are more expensive but I haven't looked
well that totally depends. there's a lot of "accidentally" vegan products in candies and chips. like most of the licorice and dark chocolate is vegan, skittles for example are vegan too. a lots of chips and flavored peanuts are vegan etc
i don't think dairy subsitutes are very expensive here. some of them are, but at least oat based ones are usually very affordable imo. fake meats are expensive yes, but like i said before idk why would anyone eat them in daily basics anyway and they are around same prices than meat sooo yeah. most vegan protein sources are way cheaper than meat
also note; of course i don't know how it is in other countries than finland
No I agree, I don't think its too expensive to be vegan (tho majorly depends on what type of stuff you buy too, cheap veggies are cheap obv, but some veggies are expensive), mostly the same price if a meat eater should switch to vegan and eat the equivalent of what they ate before
