i mean, if were talking communists then im not surprised since communism is inherently violent
care to explain how communism is inherently violent?
not really as this reeks of a situtation where ur gonna debate back when its an empirical fact. look to russia, look to cambodia, look to venezuela, theres a reason why communist societies are always deemed to fail

yea no they sought to be. the basic principle of it being violent is that its an authoritarian regime that leaves no freedom of choice as its built upon controlling the people

you obviously do not know what communism is. in a communist society there is no government, the workers controls the means of production bla bla. if a "communist party" is controlling a country, it is not a communist country. the soviet union was an authoritarian regime, yes? was it communist? no. people have tried and failed at communist revolutions, because you cant just decide one day to start a communist revolution and expect it to actually work. im sure there are people who call themselves communist, and love the idea of an authoritarian society - these people do not believe in marx' idea of communism (which is what communism is)

lmao i know what communism is but theres no point in dissecting (dystopian) ideologies that cant be implemented in society when discussing real world politics and societal trends. im referring to people who brand themselves as commies and vote for communist parties as that is a real world issue, figured that was obvious

not gonna say much more to be honest, i know communism isnt a realistic ideology and i think i stated that pretty clearly. it is a general trend among people - no matter where they fall on the political spectrum - to view things as either good or bad. the bad people deserve violence, the good people perform this violence for "the greater good". this is not an inherent communist thing - it is everywhere. the post was referring to "leftists" and not specifically communists - a lot of (online mostly from what ive seen) leftist spaces preach violence, and it is concerning. i think its stupid to make it a "communism" thing, as it is not inherently related to communism.
