eh depends

I got into plenty of trouble for standing up for myself in the past, so nowadays I just avoid people alltogether.
That sucks, especially if you were bullied
I would have had your back
even if we weren’t friends

depends on the situation ig

i was physically held back from punching someone in the face once so
Although I don’t condone violence
sometimes it’s necessary to smack a bitch
just make sure there’s someone to bail you out lol
oh the bitch spoke about my dead mom, in that moment it was absolutely necessary!
my dad and teachers had my back so
Talking about someone’s parents/family is low
She definitely extended a invite to get smacked

that depends so so much. like i'm not taking anyone's narcissistic bullshit, i'm going to hit back and be twice worse than them. conflicts with close friends/family/partner? yeah i'll just cry hysterically not being able to "use my word mouth" (idk if that's reference to something but ex always tried to encourage by saying 'just use your word mouth') lmao
Relatable!
I really try to walk away
If it’s a family member/close friend
because sometimes words do too much damage
and it doesn’t matter how many times
apologies are offered, the damage has been done

But if it gets to that level
I’m generally not apologetic

I don't get in conflicts
The lnly clnflicts I have been in is my old best friend and me "fighting" aka her being mad at me for no reason so its like,, ok
I stand up for myself usually regardless cus im confident in my stances etc so I don't just let myself sway or be a pushover, but I don't bother standing up for myself if there is no need cus its just annoying
Best friend conflict is the worst

again, sounds as if you choose
your battles wisely
cause shit definitely isn’t worth it

I’m not surprised that you
stick up for others.

Wish more people did
especially if it’s 2 or more against 1 person
I get too pissed off to be a spectator lol

How often do you find yourself in conflicts irl?
Almost never, so i don’t know the answer to this question
Not surprising, but I also remember the phrase
it’s the quiet ones you have to watch out for
or something like that

i'm not in conflicts a lot but depends on the person and the situation. i'm a doormat by nature but i can stand up for myself more nowadays. but i'm more likely to "grey rock" people, esp because the people who have been in my life are not ppl you can argue with productively bc of their mental issues
Sounds effective tho!

I always stand up for myself
but know when and how to do it, some bitches need to hear 1 or 2 lines and that's it,
and you shouldn't waste too much energy on everyone,

and sometimes all a bitch needs is 1 good smack and you're done.
Same!
but there are definitely things
that trigger me from 0-60 real quick.
Yelling, getting in my face with the hand movements?
I ask nicely, once, “please stop”
if they don’t, I adopt
“stand your ground”

I haven’t been arrested yet
but that’s my defense lol

Honestly it is something i have had to learn, I didn't use to be like that. But when I think shit is wrong, I as you, can't not interfere and tell people off.

It's a fine balance though, because I for sure got my dads temper.
