heres similar beads
get some stretchy string for jewelry, make a cheaper one now until your finances allow for you to upgrade.
better yet, here's what appear to be the same mother-of-pearl daisy beads the designer used

i will definitely consider that! i didnt like the first one, but the second one is almost identical. thank you!!
No prob!

measure your neck and convert to mm, then divide that by the width of the beads (10mm) and maybe add a few extra beads just in case (you wanna have enough room to move your neck around without it becoming tight, also, mother of pearl is finicky and you'll probably have a few beads break)
The cost will add up depending on how many beads you need, but you can always only have them come halfway, and do some cheaper seed beads around the back - if you went that route, I'd try not to do too much more  than 1/3 seed beads, because that leaves it easy to hide with your hair or shirt collars.

the price the artist listed for the necklace is more than fair based on the cost of the beads, but it doesn't look to be too difficult a craft if you're willing to try your hand at it.

back when I used to make jewelry I found last minute ebay auctions to be a really good way to get cheap supplies - but I know sometimes shipping to where y'all live makes it not a deal

Would wait for a sale, scavenge for discount codes, give myself a week to a month to think about it and if I still want it and could afford it, I'd get it.

make sure you go with a high-quality elastic, since the beads are expensive you don't want it to break on ya!
but getting extra beads is always a good idea cuz if it does break, and you do lose some, you can fix it.
