For me that problem was solved when I contacted EA and told them I had physical copies of The Sims 2 games and I requested the digital version. I just needed to send them a picture of my game stack, verify that the games were mine and then they added it to my Origin account. It's the full version with all the packs and stuff, I recommend trying that route You don't need to own every expansion to get the full game btw.
