comparing Virginia and London (similar population), "an average of 339 people in Virginia die by gun homicides and 659 are wounded by gun assaults" each year and in london there are "15,080 knife offences". 71 knife homicides and " 9,269 knife-point robberies" and "4,671 crimes involving an âassault with injury or intent to cause serious harm with a blade." the population density is different though of course so probably not the best exampleÂ
