Well, to just jump in right here, I'd say yes. I knew where I wanted to get mine because an old friend of mine loved that place and then I shipped off a very vague idea over mail, with a shitty edit on FireAlpaca of what I had in mind, and then they found me an artist - still on mail - and she showed me some of her work from Instagram. I was impressed, ngl. Once we talked more, she made a draft of my idea and it was amazing. Even better than what I had in mind! I was worried about the shadows, though, because there were literally none on the sketch, but they absolutely happened once I was actually sitting in the chair. I adore my tattoo so damn much, ehe
