are there smoking bans in the hospital you work for

there were in the hospital and the  attached nursing home when I shadowed there and took classes and I still found ways around the ban LOL
Idek the last time I’ve worked 
at the hospital..but it was definitely 
before COVID 

Anyway, hospital is smoke free
and one has to basically hike off
the property to enjoy a cigarette 
too much effort and makes me
glad that I can go without during work 
when i had my internship at a cancer place i would hide in my car to smoke im pretty sure you ewrent even supposed to smoke in the parking lot.

thats how i used to feel about it too. that i ENJOY smoking and tbh i dont enjoy a lot of things so i may as well.

but ill tell you this i never weighed more than 98 pounds until i quit smoking now i weigh 120. smoking kept me tooo thin
I know that nicotine isn’t beneficial 
and it doesn’t help that some asthma meds
kill my appetite..ugh

I even tried chemical weed lol
basically taking a pill 1 hr 
before eating..which was interesting 
because of the “side effect”
I gained 8 lbs, lost 5 when I stopped 
taking the med

no yea quitting smoking is the hardest thing i have ever ever done. i basically had to relearn how to regulate my emotions without nicotine it was like i was sixteen again emotionally. bizarre experience. and i still miss it sometimes. just yesterday i was thinking about how nice it would be to have a smkke.

I think if I got hired on at the nursing home I would of actually quit cuz I'd get tired of it but there are several other smokers in the group home so it works out, we even have a designated smoking area 

most vape but two others are smokers like me

I'd miss cigarettes, it's why vapes aren't even really quitting cuz you'll still take a cigarette if you need it and one is available
