Sometimes it takes time to set up new employees, that's not unusual. But either ways it's still the employer's responsibility to get the new ones set up and to inform them.

not that i know of. she sent me the picture of the schedule personally through text last week 
im not sure if it’s somewhere in the restaurant where i can look at it but i haven’t seen anything and i was never told about that
