First off, I really want to try sandnes garn but it's not accessible here so again, lucky for you to be living in Norway. Second, I don't think I'm much help because I personally despise that first colour, I hate cool greens with a passion. It's probably because I love warm tone greens so much. Anyway, that blue is pretty nice but I'd go with like a cream. I don't like white white, I prefer off white or cream if anything. Though I'm more of a beige guy.

i've been looking through SO MANY knitting needles today
and i guess i finally cracked the code in my brain and the pattern to make it the cheapest I could for tools

so I am getting 1 x 3mm, 1x 5mm and cords 1x 60cm and 1x80cm. since the pattern is that you do one piece at a time and don't need more than one of them in a length at the same time, this should work. i'll also take a normal needle from mom that i'm lacking :p

so now it's just YARN LEFT
and I haven't decided on green or white yet

might want to get a longer cord for the sleeves, if you're gonna use magic loop. Or some double pointed needles if that's your thing. Unless the sleeves are knit flat?

i don't know knitting lingo yet but the lady said it was sufficient so i'm going for that, and if it isn't.. it cost like 20NOK for a cord

Magic loop is when you use long circular needles to knit a small circumference thing, looks like this:

I feel like 80cm is a bit too short, it'd be fiddley to work the sleeves with.

I don't think I need that. It was suggested as an alternative, but I'm just running w whatever is the main suggestions. They are knitted straight on the sweater. but i will keep it in mind. if i notice they get to short, i'll get some longer ones too! :d

For the first one, yes, in fact it seems 3 people already have 1 2 3
You're gonna need another yarn to be your dk, like the double Sunday you sent yesterday. Dk (stands for double knit, if you're curious) is a weight classification. Not weight like grams,  because why be simple. When people talk about yarn weight they're referring to the gauge or the yarn, so how thick it is. Wpi stands for wraps per inch and is a lot more precise than weight classifications, which can be kind of off for some brands, especially commercial. 11 wpi means that if you wrap the yarn around a pencil or a ruler or something, it'd take 11 wraps for it to form an inch. Imperial system. Ew.
