i hope he makes sure he doesn't follow GSM's steps in reviving their site but making it clear they don't gaf. Neopets is thriving RIGHT NOW because their current owner/staff GAF, GSM pretends they GAF, there's sites that are in beta or recently released that have a small community but they believe in it and at least are buying memberships...VP can be the same but the price after this long without changes is gonna be the new things that show up

exactly!! I watch ads in every other game i play that has them but it's my decision to view them they're not just popping up in my face lmao

I understand having to focus on the business that is lucrative but, Knowing that there is direct competition that is modernizing themselves... why, as a business man apparently, has it taken VP being a little more than halfway dead to start making some serious moves again?

There's at least a stronger chance now and i'm glad he's been making the moves but it's this detachment that worries me. Since he gave us those updates he's been silent again and that new overseer isn't here yet...I need to know he understands the site hes trying to save f and cares fr

If the goal wasn't met for December, I would be silent too lol
it's nice to discuss new features changes etc
But even with those, some people won't ever financially support
especially if they're living off limited income/unemployed
Serious moves would be gofundme and create an app

People want changes and a bigger community
but each time they were given opportunities to promote via TikTok
(before the revival of gsm and es was in it's infancy)
they shut it down

lmaoo see no, he can't just be silent because the goal wasn't met. that's when you reach back out to the community, find out what worked and didn't work. Though i do think it's obvious some people want to feel more comfortable/confident to support and there just isn't enough motion yet for that, which is understandable. they need to secure the site before they start worrying about an app!

There were more but people wanted to gatekeep
and kinda still do with the attitude of
"I want new people but not that many"
