No I didn't read what u wrote before now lol but I think defunding the police and potentioally making it privatized is utterly stupid, ppl need police, it takes time to educate new and better people, ppl cannot live without police. Im for firing the bad cops, I am not for abolishing the police before u have a plan for what to actually do

Police in America get a lot of funding, heres a graph!:


With school funding, medical funding and many other essential services getting less and less funds every year, police get more, but with no evidence of crime rates going down! When you redistribute the funds to the examples given it can help the community a lot more, and in theory, reduce crime as a whole!

idk if defunding the police is necessarily completely gonna resolve the issue. america should invest in better police training and screening, the same was norway/finland/etc do

but i think there are many problems in america concerning inequality (america is literally a capitalism simulator built bu slaves) that are all influencing one another so you cant just take 1 of them down without having to change half the country's structure

The problem with training is that Chicago police have said they don't care and will still do a choke hold and the police are too militarized (not trying to fight sorry)
