Because they're usually portrayed by starlight cis people, who are usually teens. And that's a mistake
I think the mistake lies mostly in the writing, not nessasarely in the portrayal of the actors.

The writing is an obvious mistake, so I didn't feel the need to mention it. Because if we're gonna talk about the roles of LGBT+ characters in the plot/script, we could be here all day, there's just too many things wrong
I agree with you on this. There are actually just a few LGBT characters on TV and Film I even like. Are there some you like?

I don't really watch TV shows, and most shows I've watched are a bit older and didn't really have LGBT characters, or at least didn't portray them properly, so I don't know any LGBT characters from shows

I didnt know they are real people, I thought they play this.

Through there are not just gay people I suppose, also transgenders and more. Not that we discriminate some other identities.

Yes there's transgender people, non-binary, some of them are bisexual, there's a variety of identities. But yes, they're real people, it's a reality competition program, not a fictional scripted show.

I understand. What does non-binary mean? Does it mean they identify like me as a sea mussel, who is attracted to rhinos?

Identifying as a sea mussel has nothing to do with gender, that's a species thing.

How am I supposed to know? You're the one who identified as a sea mussel attracted to rhinos, if anyone should know what that's called, it's you

I dont know, this is the issue. They only always talk about how it is called to identify as the opposite gender or no gender or to be attracted to the same gender or both.

Maybe it is called pansexuel, can this be?
