anyway recently someone has been parking their car in my parking space. i noticed because a friend of mine has been coming over, and the parking space was taken each time. and this friend is paranoid about getting a ticket so he like made me promise i'll pay for the ticket if he gets one.... 

am i an asshole if i make this rando who's parking in my space to move their car elsewhere, & keep the space to myself even though most of the time i don't use it?

in that case you can add specific rules and such, if "party A" will agree to the specific rules that you'll write no way for them to sue you
but hmmm if there really is no other parking space use if for your friends and bf friend, better then money in my opinion,
as when my friends arrive at mine's they have to find a parking space and usually there won't be one.

then i honestly think you should keep the spot for you and your bf, 4 km just for parking is too far away. it seems more convenient to keep it. that way you always have it free for when he visits
