I actually remember when I had to put down a kitten, because she had an infection. She could have fought it off easily, but her owner insisted on using some oils and crystal healing....I had to keep a straight face and try not to punch her in the mouth. 

AND THE WORST PART???


We literally gave her the medicin. She didnt pay for it, since the cat developed it after a week she adopted her. So we covered the bill.

That would actually be a great idea.

We do have the right to simply decline a family who wants to adopt, if we dont think the family is suited for the cat. I've done that 4 times, because their behavior when I showed and introduced them to out cats, worried me. of course I talked with my boss whom I agreed with me and kindly told them that we didnt think any of our cats really suited them.
