Because the exact conjunction doesnt mean that exact day. It has a time space that can go several months before and after The reason why is because the conunction is a very slow one. It is between two slow planets, especially Pluto. So, there effect is more long lasting.

However, it became huge on the news on janurary 13th. At least where I live (sweden)
