i try to intereact with whoever is in the kitchen but i feel kinda ignored. like i ask what they're making n stuff but it doesnt rlly go anywhere

and i dont think i have the guts to just invite myself like that if that makes sense. last time i got into the kitchen and like 10 people were eating together i said hi and like 1 other personr responded. made me feel like i wasnt rlly welcome : (

Yeah, I'm probably not the best person to give advice because I would have talked to the 1 person who responded. 
It's hard to put yourself out there but eventually you just think, "fuck it, I live here too" and do your thing. 
I wish I had more to offer than good luck but keep trying and don't give up!
