Be mindful of when and how much you eat. If you eat out of boredom and not hunger, try cutting that and finding other ways of filling the boredom. Try eating fruit (like apples, pears, things with a lot of water and less sugar) if you really need to get something in the stomach because of nervousness. You will very slowly start to adapt and not eat more than you need.
That's how I lost 5kg in half a year, just gradually working my way up
