Ethics in fashion, fast fashion, sweat shops, exploitation of workers in developing nations
80% of all clothes end up in landfills or burned in the us and they aren't in our landfills the get sent to developing nations to keep them impoverish
Same passion here! Its so problematic that we are fine with developing countries getting polluted with our clothing throwaways, as long as its out of sight its out of mind! People need to talk about it more.
I also always say that you cannot be a feminist and care about human rights and still buy fast fashion. Buying fast fashion = support monster companies that don't pay their workers correctly and violate their human rights in many ways!!! And you can't say you care about climate change and not consider fashion in the discussion when its one of the biggest cause of pollution!!!
Dunno if i personally agree with all of this, but same passion.
