not a doctor just a person with google but ... sounds like a motor tic to me ?
from webMD, allfather of online medical insight: "Tics are often classified not as involuntary movements but as unvoluntary movements. This means that people are able to suppress the actions for a time. The suppression, though, results in discomfort that grows until it is relieved by performing the tic."
ur right tho that it is Not tourette's ( unless u have other tics, & also it wld need to continue for another 360 days to meet diagnostic requirements )
again from wikipedia, bastion of factual knowledge: "Tourette's is at the more severe end of the spectrum of tic disorders; its diagnosis requires multiple motor tics and at least one vocal tic to be present for more than a year. [ ... ] The tics must not be explained by other medical conditions or substance use."
oh fun so there's a possibility I have motor tics? i completely forgot they were a thing of their own. its only been 5 days so I wont panic but this does sound like it could be a problem if it continues longer. i couldn't find anything w google other than muscle spasms and things like that which I know its not
idk if thats the way to think abt it? "motor tics" isn't a diagnosis or a disease or anything, it's just literally the medical description for the symptom ur experiencing ? so idk if i'd say you "have motor tics" so much as you currently have or are experiencing
a motor tic, singular ? idk tho
some more webMD highlights:
"In most instances, tics and twitches are harmless and temporary." & "Stress and sleep deprivation seem to play a role in both the occurrence and severity of motor tics."
it'll probably go away on its own but either way sounds really annoying to deal with ! idk i can imagine it's really uncomfortable : (
My sleeping has been fine...? idk its been worse in the past and the only stress I've experienced really is birthday stuff but its not so bad i think id have motor tics from it. I'm glad that its supposed to be or can be temporary tho
