lol yeah. her tweet thread is messy af, but it's a combination of bad takes and legitimate takes i think. 

i wish people were actually debating this in the comments instead of taking it really personally and projecting everywhere... but it's twitter so what do u expect rly

yep yep
i think she had some mixed intentions because i get 3 strands here:
1. big corp bad (legit)
2. fanfiction isn't literature of same caliber as oc work (legit)
3. everything not oc is corp aligned + ip is responsible for creative "energy" dying (ice cold) 

twitter threads are not the place for actual discussion, whenever a meager character limit is placed, how can you really express your opinion and have a nuanced and engaging discussion about topics?

I think many ff is so bad because it was written by young/inexperienced authors, not because you have to write bad.

Yes, its only cus literally anyone can publish a fanfic, while w regular books its much more hard n strict
