It's less bad than other places, but because of that the cities are less prepared to handle it.

I'm dead in the middle of town and my road still isn't cleared and hasn't been for two days and this town is small lol.
My buddy, who lives less than 2 miles away, has no power still and can't even drive to my place because he lives outside city limits and they just haven't hit any of the one lane roads.

Honestly if everything closed down in Tromsø when it was snow there would be like MAXIMUM 5 months per year things are open, since it's during summer, it would be maximum 3 months of school

I guess places that get snow and cold more often have to be prepared.
What I don't get - is that weather has progressively gotten worse over the past ten years and the southern US has not seemed to bother to get more prepared...
