When he moved in with me he was going up, doing a lot better, and it all just started rapidly declining.
I gave him a chance to do better, he DID better, and then stagnated and rapidly declined.
I believe everyone deserves chances, but they're not gonna get them from the same people, he's running out of bridges to burn.

it's just that I wouldn't say that in this town bc if I was wrong that would really hurt him.

Also I DO know he used to be on drugs and got sober without a program which often leaves folks with lingering bad behaviors and traits bc they never worked on them, they just stopped doing drugs.

Either way, he's shitty and using people, and basically beating them down til they have no energy to fight back and its fucked, sober or an addict, it's fucked.

I was the last person in town willing to give him a chance when I did, even his family wasn't speaking to him. 
And he did do REALLY FUCKING GOOD for quite a while, and mended his family relationships or so I thought, got to see his kid again, like he really seemed to want to do better for himself and having the stability I provided helped
I just expected him to want more than to rent a room off someone nearly 15 years younger than him forever, like damn.
