make sure you have someone with building/engineering background on board or have someone check on your plans if you do (some of) the work yourself. it takes certain character to be able to live without a lot of physical belongings - obviously you can have storage units or something but personally i think it kinda wrecks the point if you end up renting space for stuff you can't access from your home anyway. it sounds exciting though, and it could be a really cool lifestyle to try out. have you looked into poste restante or how to figure out getting mail, where will you attend health care services etc?

that does sound like a slight train wreck.......like i've been thinking about this from time to time but i don't even have a license and idk if it's that intriguing for me personally. but i've made some plans (like blueprints, i checked the maximum width of personal vehicles? in finland and used like general measurements inside vans and campers and made a few layout ideas). i love planning tight spaces

but like you probably should use a vehicle that will be reliable if you plan on actually living in it

honestly.... almost my mail (billz) is still sent to my mom's address anyway so i'm probably just gonna use that as my residential address, but for anything else yeah our delivery provider offers general delivery. i
don't really receive much mail anyway besides bank statements, almost all my shit is online, and i rarely ever order stuff online either.

also we have free/taxed health care in canada so i can basically go anywhere within the country and well... travel insurance we'll cross that bridge when we get 2 it!

so the 1st step would probably be to check on your mum about the mail thing and start looking (through several sources preferably) the requirements for an inhabitable vehicle. check if there's separate laws for them, search for blogs, videos, documentaries etc and educate yourself about what you need, where to splurge and where to save. make an estimate for the costs of doing things yourself, ask around to find people who can help you out if you diy most of it, and make sure it won't actually drain your bank account even more than to buy new/used.
