cilantro likes cool weather, plant it in the shade, and seed more every 2 weeks.
When you cut it, it'll grow back, but not well - so I cut it once and when it grows back I let it go to seed (which is coriander)

that's good advice!! so if i want to plant it inside it shouldn't reach the sun at all?

it needs sun, it just doesn't want to get too hot or it will go to seed, I plant it in a shady area that stays cooler, but still gets sun.
the seed is good too, its a pickling spice, but the cilantro is still the best part.

I'm honestly surprised how much I ended up going out there lol
they auction off bulk produce, sell canning jars, farm supplies, plants, seeds

it's a bit of an ass-clenching drive because it's mostly 1-lane roads with totally blind hills and curves and you never know if someone else is coming and GPS is a crapshoot
but totally worth it because I grow a pretty big garden and don't have the space to start many seeds

I'm still gonna go to my old colleges greenhouse today tho because I wanna support them
even tho their plants cost more lol
I forgot to get marigolds anyways
