aaaAA okay so I have to pick a college to transfer to by tomorrow night and I don't know which to choose. which do you think sounds like a better option in your opinion?
option 1:
-an hour from home
-very small school
-costs $51,800 but with my scholarships it'll be $13,800
-I applied for a scholarship that would pay my full tuition & they told me I'd be very competitive for it but I won't find out if I got it until after I have to make my choice, but if I don't I'll get another $1,000-$2,000 scholarship
-they have far more negative reviews than positive reviews on ratemyprofessor
-has a 3.3 overall rating on ratemyprofessor and an overall B- from niche
-professors are rated kinda low quality
-the idea of it is good but i'm worried about the negative reviews and few bad stories from friends who know people that went there
-if I get there and I hate it I'll be kinda alone because I don't know anyone who goes there and its an hour from home
-could be cool to live further from home though and the campus is cute but in the middle of nowhere (close to a bigger city and a really big college though)
-offer trips to different countries for between a week and a month with the price of everything but the plane ticket covered, also a thing where you can study at oxford university for a little while
option 2:
-like 15 minutes from home (would still have to live on campus though)
-slightly bigger small school
-costs $45,500 but with my scholarships it'll be $19,800
-mostly good ratemyprofessor reviews
-has a 3.1 overall rating on ratemyprofessor and an overall B from niche
-the major I chose is apparently nearly nonexistent there and my theater director (who went there and now works with the college some) advised me that I would probably want to swap my major and minor
-If I go there and hate it at least I'm still at home and can see friends? but it's more expensive
-I know a few people who go there but I'm only close with one
-if I swap my major and minor there then I could get some cool opportunities. I would be majoring in communications and they've had their com students work on 2 Netflix movies that were being filmed at the school (one was Santa Girl, I don't remember the other one)
-less cool campus but not bad location
-supposedly kind of clique-ish?
do give your opinions !!
