for anyone who isnt signed up to a general practice you cant get a prescription unless you do it privately i dont think as you need a nhs doctor to prescribe you one. gps have this thing where they have a catchment area kinda like how schools do i guess? because i was signed up to a gp in certain area and then they caught wind of me being else where from where i use to live they basically dropped me from the gp so i need to find another. ive been to the gp near me to try be moved there but bc im in temp housing and i could be moved into permanent housing anywhere in the city at any time so they didnt want me to have a full time place because i could move out the catchment area there so they gave me like a temp 6 month thing so i could get seen to. i wanted to see if i could get another bc still not in housing lol but scotland was in lockdown and the gp i went to wasnt open and also now wasn’t accepting any more patients so its rlly just a waiting game atm till everything goes back to normal and they accept patients again. till then i have to order my inhalers off line and pay.
