my mom has cancer and severe bipolar and I had to fight to get her to get approved for disability while she literally sat in a psych ward in a literal diaper from the cancer.

I went to a college that basically throws out your application if you are not low income because it's tuition-free (which is like, a BEAUTIFUL model, I LOVED going to school with folks I related to on an economic scale)
but when my moms dad died and she inherited $38,000, they LITERALLY REVOKED MY ACCEPTANCE until I was able to provide receipts proving that all the money had been spent, because if you don't get fafsa, the school can't take you.

That's fucking terrible. Our health care system is such bullshit honestly.
My dad had to fight for disability as well literally after losing a toe after having a ulcer. Could of lost more if he didn't go sooner, he was too scared about the hospital bills and shit.

my moms radiation and chemo clinic didn't even have a little button to open the door for wheelchairs and I WAS FUCKING LIVID
