i got invited to dinner once and i told them upfront that im vegetarian (back when i wasnt vegan yet) and they were like yes ofc we will have something ready for u dont worry

and then they made pho with homemade meat broth and were like oh but we removed the meat from the broth so its vegetarian now right :)

lol i had to do that once, because i visited my sister's husband's parents and no one informed them that i don't eat meat and they had some meat soup
and i was too hungry to even complain so i just ate it and left meat on plate

I lived in a boarding school where there wasn't proper vegan\ vegetarian food until I literally threatened to starve there and that I'll complain about the school
in my last 2 high school years there was vegan and vegetarian food after we got more vegetarians and vegans on board

??

it's pretty much fair to assume that all restaurants these days has at least vegetarian options
besides i absolute didn't know where i'm going this morning, because my teacher has commucation issues. so i thought we are in school. but no we drove ~1,5 hour for somewhere i don't even know and we were literally in middle of the nowhere in small area that couldn't be even called village
if i knew that i would have brought my own food
