like when i was with my boyfriend two years (?) ago the water had some virus in it and we had to buy it or drive to fill up tanks and stuff and that was like a BIG situation, cant imagine never being able to drink the tap water

to me it only makes sense if their tap water is not drinkable - for instance, i've visited canary islands multiple times and every local buys water canisters for that reason
