5% of current world population is 383,700,000, so that's a decent amount of ppl still

there's shit that looks too obviously fake (?) I've seen compilations of people "with" different disorders/mental illnesses n i kinda just feel bad
like idk what's the point, it doesn't make u look quirky. it's scary shit, ppl who have these different mental illnesses, disorders (etc) suffer irl n ur just trying to get pity points? make it something fashionable? what do you get in taking something serious as a cute lil trait for yourself?

it used to trigger me so bad when people pretended to have mental illness, cause i'd give out my organs for free to feel normal again, or atleast healthier.
Now I just dont care, mental illnesses come and go as trends.

did (correct me if i wrote that wrong)

its just odd that the amount of users on tiktok who has it is so big. It doesn't make any sense.

And how: The constant "shift" that's obvious scripted. It does damage the people who actually suffers from it when it's used as a quirk by 12-14 yr olds who self diagnose.

Tics are often faked as well, ocd, etc.

It's quite easy to tell. (I'm not here to be ableist at all. )
A lot from what i've seen majorly pop up on my fyp is people using ocd as a quirk as well as other.

The major issue id self-diagnosis. I understand that some might not have the funds to seek help, but filling out an online survey that judges you to have x or x, and then deciding that you have that is more damaging than anything else.

Don't get me wrong. I respect people who are diagnosed,  but the sad fact is that a lot isn't. Mental disorders has turned into a trend in the recent years starting in 2010 where eating disorders were heavily trending, then depression and anxiety took the place in the later years.

Oh yeah yikes, did is such a hard disorder to diagnose and a lot of professionals aren't even sure it's real, so for people to obviously fake it, saying they're self diagnosed or whatever (fuck off, don't self diagnose. You can suspect you might suffer a certain condition but you are not a professional, bring it up to one) stop. Just stoppp. I wonder if Munchausen syndrome also applies to people pretending to have mental illnesses.
