Poll: Do you agree with relaxing restrictions?
Anyone from England...

So anyone who is from England how do you feel about today ( #FreedomDay ) ?

Will you still be wearing your mask and socially distancing?

I for one will be wearing my mask and keeping 2m away from people not in my household. I also as much as i'd love to go to a nightclub won't be joining the massive queues here in Newcastle i'd much rather have a drink in the house.

I'm not from uk, but Denmark did this around the first of july. Everyone is still required to hold distance (some asshole don't tho). I mostly wear my mask at crowded places or food places still.

See we aren't even keeping social distancing anymore either Boris the Baboon has taken all the restrictions and put them in a shredder xx

Damn.. I'm really close to calling out people when they get close.. I gave someone the side eye not long ago, because i could almost feel their breath on my neck. I literally go at dead hours, you got plenty of space, you do not need to be up my arse.

it's daft calling it freedom day but some people will have just been using that so that's why its in brackets lol.

If it helps i'm in Newcastle and its not much better here. I'm lucky in a sense that my job is digital marketing so i'm working 3 mornings in the office (only 3 staff members in the company as its a new business) the rest of the time i'm at home.

However, i have to get the bus to work and back every morning i'm in the office and from today people don't need to wear a mask or social distance on the buses which is really annoying.

We defo have idiots running this country that's for sure xx

Oh i've been doing that the whole way through like back in december last year so elderly lady was literally standing up the backs of me and my grandparents (we live together) and when i told her she needed to move 2m back in the queue she started yelling at saying that she didn't need to and and that i wasn't. So turned round and told her that she really did and considering the three of us live together then i don't have to move away from them. She ended up getting asked to leave the store because she had her face mask under her chin instead of on her face and refused to give any proof that she didn't need to wear it and stuff.

i work in merchandise and could very much be doing the job remotely, it's just that because boris says we can go back into the office, my boss think that means he can force us back in everyday without even asking how the staff feel about it. gotta love white cis men in power

at least people are still required to wear masks on the underground but i believe only 85% are actually doing it

hey ho, at least we can go to standing gigs again :)

She had that coming.
I haven't had much problems with people not social distancing thought, luckily, but that one i felt uncomfortable.

i guess i'm lucky with my boss i suppose in this sense.

i think it should be a legal requirement that all transport most have masks worn on them.

Not even going to any gigs any time soon the last gig i was at was March 13th 2020 and that was James Arthur was also the gig at the arena in newcastle until this month xx
