and idk where you live, but where I live, it's not super unreasonable to buy another engine from a junkyard and have a mechanic put it in the car lol

"Toyota" and "Money Pit" are not things I generally associate tho haha

but like, if the head gasket is blown it will kill the motor,  but there are def ways to like, prologue its life a bit.

Might not be.  Mine would have a hard time accelerating when coming from a complete stop, or onto the highway. It was okay there for a while once it was going but progressively got worse. Also going up hills took a bit more
