I can for sure say most our thrift stores is way smaller than your usual goodwill, often also rather expensive from what i have seen?
Goodwill raises their prices every few years which I think is kinda fucked up since they pay their employees like shit and all of the stuff was free for them.
we also have little church charity shops too where things are like, a dollar.
They know people will come back no matter what, it's kind filthy to do, i agree. As far as i know, most people volunteer to work at the thrift stores run by organisations here.
