if youā€™ve formed a good relationship/friendshipĀ 
with a step-mom, why should it be expected
to end just because sheā€™s not with your dad?

I probably wouldnā€™t grossly flaunt itĀ 
in my dadā€™s face

fair point i guess, if your parent breaks up with a stepparent when you're like a teen or older it would make sense to keep in touch. bit hard to do when you're a kid though
